Have you ever felt your heart race so fast where it woke you up abruptly out of a deep sleep to catch your breath? And the more you tried to breathe, the faster your heart continued to beat until you felt as if it was going to jump out of your chest and you were going to pass out? Which then starts a cycle of sleepless nights (insomnia), fatigue, foggy thinking, and irritability during the day due to sleepless anxiety-filled nights.
The subtle “Yellow” warning lights to Slow Down that I ignored turned to a glaring loud “Red” stoplight that caught my full attention during the busiest time of my life. There was nothing I could do but “Surrender” to the process of creating a more balanced life.

As I write this book, Slow Down by “Choice” or Lay Down by “Force” started as my personal journey and the journey of my clients back to wholeness and balance by being “Forced” to “Slow Down” in various periods of our individual lives. And then entered 2020 the year of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and a universal slow down (Quarantine) on Earth. 2020 is also in Numerology (the science of numbers), a 4 year (2+0+2+0) which represents upheaval, hard work, restriction and building new foundations/ systems after dismantling outdated systems. How timely and prophetic.
This year’s changes and challenges which we have never experienced in our generation, still should not come as a total surprise if we think deeply on the theme of this writing; we have had signs for many years personally and universally to “Slow Down” by choice and have ultimately some say unexpectantly (I don’t believe in accidents just spirits way of getting our attention) been “Forced” to through a Universal Quarantine to combat the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
It has been a devasting and humbling experience in every country on the planet and has affected all our lives. So, what lessons have we learned from this pandemic and “Forced” quarantine? ~ Enjoy the book!
