Numerology Made Simple
Have you every wondered what is Numerology and how does it work? Numerology you guess it, is a system made up of numbers. Well let’s make it simple. Have you ever wondered why on certain years you felt energized and ready to conquer the world and achieve all your goals on your to do list. Yet in other years you felt more reflective and moved at a slower pace and wanted to spend more time alone? When looking back some years you were focused on family responsibilities and other times you felt the pull of freedom. You find yourself exploring and on adventures out in the world enjoying life and meeting fun and fascinating people.
Well depending on the numerology energy that personally surrounded you that year coinciding with the energy surrounding the world could determine what your focus and energetic vibe was for a particular year. That is the elementary version of numerology.
By The Numbers
In simple terms, numerology is a study of numbers in your life. You can uncover information about the world and also each individual person by using Numerology. Numerology is seen as a universal language of numbers.
Numerology is the idea that the universe is a system and once broken down we are left with the basic elements, which is numbers. These numbers can then be used to help us to better understand the world and ourselves as individuals.
Ophi Edut of the AstroTwins states that “Numerology is an awesome companion to astrology’. ‘It helps clarify the sign by providing additional nuance; enhances your understanding of self by revealing not just how you express yourself, but where you output your inherent energy.” He adds that “Numerology reveals the age of your soul.”
I refer to it as your Numerology/Vibrational number; the energy that surrounds you at birth and subsequent years throughout your life which can be used as a guide to determine the vibrational energy in a particular year.
It is based on a science that has been used since the beginning of time based on numbers. Everything in the universe is based on mathematics and scientific and spiritual principles.
It is not a coincidence that our bodies are also in tune with the numeric order of the universe. Female menstrual cycles are based on a number of days. Seasons enter and leave at a specific time and number of days. Whether we are conscious of it or not, the birds fly south at a certain time and return at a certain universal time. Flowers bloom and leaves fall at a certain date and time. If it happens in nature, the same goes with our cycles in our personal lives.
Life Cycles by Numbers
Numerology is based on a 9-year cycle similar to other things in the universe. (ex: nine years before a decade starts, nine months for a fetus to form into a baby etc.)
We each have a personal 9-year cycle. Each of us is born on a certain date with a certain name given to us by our parents/guardians (which represents your nature). This energy can influence our lives. Everything in the universe follows a natural law or order and is synchronized and connected to each other.
You ask how does knowing this information benefit me?? If you know the cycle that you are currently in, you can work harmoniously with the energy of that specific cycle. You will work within the natural flow and rhythm of your cycle and not against the current that can cause major problems.
Certain decisions or major life choices can be made during a certain vibrational cycle in your life.Each year there is a universal year number and vibrational energy that surrounds us all and we also each have a personal year number based on our individual birthdates. It is helpful to work with both energies as you work on your individual and collectives focus and goals for a year.

Life Path Number
The main numerology number that most utilize when determining someone’s personal vibrational energy is the Life Path Number.
Basically, take your date of birth’s numerical value, add all those digits together by category (year, month, day). Keep adding each of those digits together until you finally end up with a single digit.
For example: Say your birthday is July 4, 1995, or 7/4/1995. First, you’ll reduce the year to a single digit by adding its digits together. 1+9+9+5 = 24, and 2+4 = 6. In this case, both the month and the day are already single digits, so we can now add each value together: 6 (for the year) + 4 (for the day) + 7 (for the month) = 17. Finally, add those digits together, as needed, until you get a single digit: 1+7 = 8 Life Path
Generally, 8’s Strengths: Eights are good with money, even from a very young age. They’re ambitious and willing to work hard to be self-sufficient and comfortable.
Some Challenges: This type’s skill with money means they might be susceptible to users, whether professionally or personally. They’re also at risk of becoming workaholics.
